Woven by hand, from our family of weavers to your home
Every KwayuFashion basket is made by our team of weavers in Bolgatanga, Ghana, and Tanzania – people like Patricia, Toddar, Asanga, Nboo, Mwahija and Martha. Natural elephant grass is dried, dyed with non-toxic colours and woven by hand, so no two baskets are ever exactly alike.
When you buy from us you get a piece of authentic African craft – and you help sustain skilled artisan work in the communities where these traditions began.

How long will my basket take to arrive?
Each basket is handwoven to order in 7–14 days, then shipped with tracking in 7–14 days. Most orders arrive 2–4 weeks after purchase.
Do you ship to my country?
Yes – we ship to the UK, all of Europe, the USA and Canada. Please add your mobile number at checkout so the courier can reach you.
Will I pay customs or import duties?
Baskets ship from Ghana, and some countries charge import duties or taxes on arrival. These are set by your country and are the buyer's responsibility.
My basket arrived a little squashed – what do I do?
Natural grass is flexible. Lightly dampen the basket, push it back into shape, stuff it with towels or pillows and let it air dry. See our care & reshaping guide.
Can I order a custom size or colour?
Absolutely. Message us with your measurements or colour ideas and we'll weave it for you.
