Product Description:
Our beautiful Moses baskets are handmade by skilled local artisans in Ghana, crafted from natural elephant grass and hand-dyed with eco-friendly, natural dyes. Some handles are wrapped in durable leather for extra strength and style. Each basket is a unique piece of art, ethically made and shipped directly from Ghana to you.
Shipping:
Please allow 2 to 3 weeks for delivery, as each basket is carefully packed and shipped from Ghana. We recommend ordering in advance to avoid delays.
Reshaping & Care Instructions:
Due to the natural materials and shipping process, your basket may arrive slightly misshapen. To restore its shape, simply rinse with water, reshape gently, and let air dry. You may also notice some stray strands—feel free to trim them with scissors for a neat finish.
Dimensions:
Length 28–30 inches, Height 8–11 inches, Width 15–16 inches. Slight size variations occur because each basket is handmade.
Stands:
You can choose the option to buy the basket with a stand here, or alternatively, stands are available at baby stores or online retailers like Amazon. We recommend using a firm foam mattress that fits the basket’s dimensions for your baby’s safety and comfort.
Uses:
Perfect as a bassinet, stylish storage solution, or beautiful home décor piece.
Ideal Gift For:
Baby showers, new parents, expecting mothers, and infant care.
Safety Recommendations:
Suitable for babies from birth until they weigh 9kg (15 lbs) or begin to sit up or roll over. Always position the basket handles outward when your baby is inside. Never carry or move the basket while your baby is inside. Avoid placing toys with strings or cords in or around the basket to prevent choking hazards. Keep pets and other children from climbing into the basket while in use. Do not use plastic bags inside the basket. Never leave your infant unattended in the basket. Keep the basket away from heaters, open flames, stoves, fireplaces, open windows, stairs, and other hazards. Do not use the basket if damaged or broken.

Care & reshaping
Care & reshaping
Bolga baskets are woven from natural elephant grass, which is flexible when damp. If your basket arrives slightly squashed after its journey, it is easy to fix.
How to reshape your basket
- Lightly dampen the basket with water (a quick rinse or spray is enough).
- Gently push it back into shape by hand.
- Stuff it firmly with towels, pillows or cushions to hold the shape.
- Leave it to air dry completely, away from direct heat.
